Ceilings and partitions for new Chai Ki restaurant

Bespoke Drywall has completed a ceilings and partitions contract at the new Chai Ki restaurant at Canary Wharf development in London. The restaurant is the second of Rohit Chugh’s experimental Indian influenced restaurants and was opened at the new Canary Wharf Crossrail Station.

Working to an extremely tight construction programme, exacerbated by issues with availability of architectural steel, saw this contract completion run close to the wire.  Fire rated and non-fire rated partitions, separating walls, shaftwall, MF and exposed grid ceilings made up our works on this contemporary design from Design LSM.  Difficulty with deliveries and access made the project a tricky one, however, working hand in partnership with DG Professional Interiors, the job was delivered on time.
